Peter W Bodde named as new ambassador to Nepal

Peter W Bodde has been named as a new ambassador to Nepal, replacing incumbent ambassador Scott H DeLisUS. American President Barack Obama has nominated Peter. However, his nomination is awaiting Senate confirmation.


Bodde is assistant chief of Mission for Assistance Transition in Iraq and coordinator for minority issues at the US embassy in Baghdad. He was born in October 1954 and graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1976.
