Nepali congress strongly objects the government decision to extend CA term

Nepali Congress, the only oldest democratic party of the country, has strongly objected the government decision to extend the Constituent Assembly (CA) term by thee Months.


President of the Nepali Congress Sushil Koirala has strongly objected the government decision organizing a press conference on Tuesday evening. A press conference was organized at Koirala residence, Maharajgunj at late evening.


“The government’s decision to extend the CA term has not only disobeyed the order of the Supreme Court but also violated the aspiration of the entire Nepalese people and the well wisher of the international Communities” Koirala said “ Nepali Congress would not accept the decision.


The cabinet meeting held on Tuesday evening decided to extend the CA term by three Months. Following the government decision the government has also registered a proposal t extend the CA term on late Tuesday evening.
