Supreme Court of Nepal issues interim order against Government decision to providestate facilities to former VIPs

Kathmandu, Nepal--The Supreme Court has on Tuesday issued an interim order directing the government to put on hold its recent decision to provide life-long state facilities to former VIPs from the state coffers.
Responding to the writ filed against the government decision, a single bench of Justice Tahir Ali Ansari issued the interim order directing the government to come up with a written reply stating that why the former VIPs should be given such a state facilities.
