Sitting cabinet Minister resigns from the post

Minister for Land Reform and Management Chandra Dev Joshi has resigned from his post on Tuesday. Joshi has resigned expressing dissent over the working style of the Prime Minister and government´s failure to take initiative for political consensus.


Joshi has tendered his resignation letter to Prime Minister Baburm Bhattarai at his office in Singha Durbar this afternoon. Joshi is also the Chairman of CPN (United).


it is said that his resignation is a obvious glance of the differences between the allies of the incumbent government. In his resignation letter Joshi has accused that the Prime Minister Bhattarai of being indifference to forge consensus among the parties to end the ongoing political turmoil of the country.
