British Ambassador visits President

Kathmandu, Nepal -- The outgoing British envoy to Nepal, Andrew Hall, paid a farewell call on President Dr Ram Baran Yadav on Monday at the president office Sital Niwas. Hall is going to leave Nepal after completing his four-year tenure in the capacity of the British ambassador to Nepal.


During the meeting Ambassador Hall discussed the longstanding friendship between the two countries and historic relations. Likewise he also vowed for continuation of support for the development and to the peace process in Nepal.


According the British embassy new British ambassador, John Tucknott, will take up his duties in Nepal in mid-August.
