Nepali congress appeals UML to support

Kathmandu, Nepal -- The Nepali Congress (NC) on Tuesday appealed to the CPN-UML to support the Nepali congress on the election of prime minister's post.
Nepali congress Parliamentary Party leader and prime ministerial candidate Ram Chandra Poudel made such an appeal during the meeting with UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal at latter’s residence, Dallu.


The demand of the Nepali congress for the post of Prime minister is not only for the sake of protecting the democratic value in the country but also write a constitution on time, paudel had said during the meeting.


However, UML chairman Khanal still remained adamant on the demand of national consensus government. Formation of a national consensus government is the only way to ensure the constitution in time and reaching the ongoing peace process into logical conclusion, khanal said while responding the call of the Nepali congress leader Paudel.
