GULMI: One person died and five others were injured after a landslide triggered by incessant rainfall buried them at Shantipur- VDC in Gulmi district on Tuesday night.
The deceased has been identified as Durga Bahadur Thapa (31) of Juniya VDC-5 in the district.
Critically injured Thapa breathed his last during the course of treatment at a local health centre, according to the District Police Office, Gulmi.
The injured have been identified as Khem Raj Thapa (35), his wife Sunita Thapa (32) and daughters Heera Thapa (3) and Barsha Thapa (7) of Juniya VDC-5 and Deepak Thapa (31) of Dibrung-6.
Police said that all the injured are receiving treatment at the Shantipur Health Centre.RSS
