Kathmandu, Nepal: Dang, Nepal: At least 16 persons, mostly the students Rapti Technical School, killed in a road accident in Tulsipur Sub Metropolitan City -3 of the district on Friday.
A passenger bus with registration number Ba 4 Kha 9766 met with the accident when it skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge. The ill-fated bus was returning to Dang from a field visit to Mulpani Botanical Garden in Salyan district.
According to the police, 16 people confirmed dead while nine others have been receiving treatment at local hospital.
Eight men and a woman had died on the spot while others were pronounced dead while receiving treatment at hospital.
Details about the deceased are yet to come.
