Kathmandu, Nepal, July 8, 2020: 23 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) have been detected in Kathmandu valley in the past 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 16 people infected with the virus have been found in Kathmandu while 7 found in Lalitpur district.
As the people, particularly though who had left Kathmandu valley in the past, have been pouring in Kathmandu valley in recent weeks without any restrictions, the number of conronavirus have been drastically spiking in Kathmandu valley.
