Kathmandu, Nepal, June 26, 2020: At least seven persons injured when a group of looters clashed with locals at Roshi Rural Municipality in Kavre district on Thursday night.
The lash erupted at the midnight leaving four locals injured after a group of looters attacked another group of local, who were guarding a Buddha Chitta tree to protect from the thieves.
Buddha Chitta tree is a three which is considered as sacred by Buddhists. The followers of the Buddhism use the seeds of the Buddha Chitta tree to make garlands.
It is said that the looters had fled with the seeds of Buddha Chitta tree that was believed worth of about one million Nepalese rupees.
