Kathmandu, Nepal: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli arrived home on Sunday after completing a six-day official visit to China. Prime Minister Oli had left for China on June 19 at the invitation of his Chinese counterpart Li Keqiang.

Primer Oli was received by Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Ishwor Pokharel, National Assembly Chairman Ganesh Timilsina, Nepal Communist Party senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal and many others at Tribhuwan International Airport. 

During his stay in China, Prime Minister Oli held talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang and many other Chinese leaders regarding the issue of bilateral relations between the two neighboring countries. 
Nepal and China have also signed 14 agreements including a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to build a railway link connecting Tibet with Kathmandu.

Prime Minister Oli has also termed himself the visit as grad success. My recent visit to China has further enhanced the friendship and political relations between the two countries, Prime Minister Oli said while speaking to journalists upon his arrival at the TIA adding that railway link connecting Tibet with Kathmandu is the grand achievement of the visit.

We have signed on various important agreements including railways, energy, transportation, infrastructure development, tourism and many among others, Prime Minister Oli said claiming that the agreements will come into practice very soon. However, he did not mention timeline to bring into implementations the agreements.
