Kathmandu, Nepal, March 3, 2022: American Ambassador to Nepal, Randy Berry paid a courtesy call to the Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Gyanendra Bahadur Karki at latter’s office, Singhdurbar on Wednesday.
During the meeting, the duo discussed on ranges of issues related to the bilateral relationship between Nepal and the USA including the recently ratified Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) compact project.
Minister Karki, who is also the government spokesperson, extended gratitude to the USA for its long-term support on Nepal's overall development. He also expressed his hope to continue such a support in days to come.
Responding to the concern of the Minister Karki, the US Ambassador Berry reiterated his commitment to continue support to Nepal mentioning cordial relations between Nepal and the USA since the establishment of friendly relations between the two countries.
