Kathmandu, Nepal, March 1, 2021: Newly appointed Australian ambassador to Nepal Felicity Volk paid a courtesy call on Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota at latter’s office in Singh Durbar on Monday.
During the meeting, Australian ambassador to Nepal Volk and Speaker Sapkota held talks on ranges of issues including the bilateral relationship between the two countries and experiences of Australia in federalism. .
Extending best wishes for a successful tenure in Nepal, Speaker Sapkota expressed his hope that bilateral relationship between the two countries would be flourished during the tenure of Ambassador Volk.
Responding the concerns of Speaker Sapkota, Ambassador Volk also expressed her commitment to promote bilateral trade and support bid to implement federalism in the country.
