Kathmandu, Nepal, April 12, 2022: Austrian Ambassador to Nepal Katharina Wieser paid a courtesy call on Minister for energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Pampha Bhusal on Tuesday.
During the meeting held at latter’s office at the Ministry for energy, Water Resources and Irrigation in Singha Durbar, Austria Ambassador to Nepal Wieser and Minister Bhusal held discussions on ranges of issues including the bilateral relationship between the two countries.
Minister Bhusal extended her thanks on behalf of the Nepal government to the government of Austria for providing support on various fields in Nepal. Minister Bhusal also stressed on the need of further cooperation between the two countries.
As Wieser was recently appointed as Austria’s Ambassador to Nepal, Minister Bhusal expressed her belief that the bilateral relations between Nepal and Austria would be strengthening further during her tenure.
Responding to the concern of Minister Bhusal Austrian Ambassador Wieser said that Austria and Nepal can collaborate in ranges of issues including hydropower development in coming days. During the meeting Ambassador Wieser also reiterated her commitment to continue support to Nepal.
