Kathmandu, Nepal: Netra Bikarm Chand aka ‘Biplav’-led Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) spokesperson Khadga Bahadur Bishwakarma has been remanded for three day police custody on Sunday.

The Kavre District Court has allowed the District Police Office, Kavre to remand Bishwakarma in police custody for the investigation on the charge of setting fire to Namobuddha-6-based crusher industry. 

Bishwokarma was rearrested from the premises of Kathmandu District Court on Friday on the charge of setting fire to Namobuddha-6-based crusher industry rightly after he was released by the Supreme Court.

Earlier,  Bishwokarma was arrested along with Harish Chandra Acharya of Kalikot and Man Bahadur Shrestha of Kapilvastu, from Dakshinkali area in Kathmandu on August 7 for their alleged involvement in extortion.
