Kathmandu, Nepal: The differences over the merger of the CPN UML and the CPN Maoist Center have not resolved yet though the two parties have intensified discussions to settle the differences.

As the two parties have been bickering on ranges of issues, party unification coordination committee has given the responsibility to the chairmen of both parties-CPN UML and the Maoist Center to resolve all the differences regarding the party unification.

A meeting of the party unification coordination committee held at Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar on Tuesday gave the responsibility to resolve three contentious issues regarding party unification.

Though the leaders of both the sides have been claiming to end the party unity process immediately, it is hard to do so as ranges of issues including the party’s ideology, division of power and many others  have emerged as of the most contentious issues.
