Kathmandu, Nepal, February 17, 2022: British Ambassador to Nepal, Nicola Pollitt has called on Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Pampha Bhusal at latter’s office at Singhdurbar on Thursday.
Though the meeting was a courtesy call, discussions were held on ranges of issues including the bilateral relationship between the two countries. During the meeting, Minister Bhusal appraised the role of the UK government in the development activities in Nepal including in the sectors of renewable energy, low carbon infrastructure and promotion of eco-tourism.
Ministers Bhusal also expressed her optimisms that bilateral relations would be strengthened between the two countries during the tenure of Nicola as UK’s Ambassador to Nepal.
Responding to the concern of Minister Bhusal, Ambassador Nicola also expressed commitment on behalf of the UK government to continue assistance to Nepal including in the sectors of renewable energy, low carbon infrastructure and promotion of eco-tourism.
