Kathmandu, Nepal: The government has recommended to the President Bidya Devi Bhandari to call the House session from May 6 at 4 pm. 

A cabinet meeting held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers on Friday decided to recommend President Bhandari to call the Budget session of the Parliament. Constitutionally, President has to call the session in recommendation of the cabinet.  

The meeting also decided to appoint Joint Government Attorney Rama Devi Parajuli as the member of Foreign Employment Tribunal (FET).

Similarly, the meeting also decided to publish the notice on the national gazette regarding the jurisdiction of the Integrated Check Post at Birgunj customs, which was come into practice since April 7. 

The newly built Check Point was funded by the government of India and that was jointly inaugurated by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi during Oli’s state visit to India on April 7.

Likewise, the meeting also decided to grant the responsibility to the Ministry of Home Affairs to draft the bill regarding to Internal Peace and Good Governance (IPGG).
