Kathmandu, Nepal, February 23, 2020: Cabinet meeting of the 'Shadow Government' formed by the main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) has reached on the conclusion that incumbent government formed under the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has institutionalized the corruption in the country. 

The first meeting of the main opposition NC’s shadow government was chaired by the party president and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.  

According to NC's parliamentary party leader of the National Assembly (NA) Surendra Raj Pandey, the meeting had discussed on ranges of issues related to the governance and contemporary political issue of the country. 

With the conclusion that not only the immediate past Information Minister Gokul Baskota but also other ministries would have involved in corruption, the cabinet meeting of the NC’s shadow government also directed the respective 'shadow ministers' to study over the entire decisions made during the period by the incumbent government. 

The NC had formed the 'shadow government' in May with the motive to monitor the activities of the KP Sharma Oli-led government.
