Kathmandu, Nepal, October 30, 2019: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN), the apex body of the Nepalese cricketers, has on Wednesday appointed Gyanendra Malla as an interim captain of the national cricket team.
With the decision of the CAN, Malla will lead the side for the upcoming series against Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), which is going to be held next month in Kathmandu and Pokhara.
A meeting of the CAN also decided to appoint Dipendra Singh Airee as the vice-captain of the team. The post of captain had remained vacant after Former captain of the national cricket team, Paras Khada had resigned from the post on October 15.
