Kathmandu, Nepal: With the ending of the formal procedures regarding the formation of a commission the Constituency Delineation Commission (CDC) has set to begin its work. 
 
The CDC formed under the chairmanship of former Supreme Court justice Kamal Narayan Das has concluded its formal procedures regarding the formation of a commission by administrating the oath of office and secrecy to its members.    
 
Newly appointed Chief Justice Gopal Prasad Parajuli was administered the oath of office and secrecy to the CDC amidst a function at the Supreme Court on Sunday. 
 
Chairperson Das had administered the oath of office and secrecy to the Commission’s members Parajuli, Madhav Adhikari,  Biswo Kalyan Parajuli and Ganesh Raj Karki in the function. Yogendra Sharma Poudel is the member-secretary of the Commission.
 
The government formed the CDC on July 20 with the mandate to submit its report on the number of constituencies to be formed for provincial and House of Representatives elections. As per the mandate given by the government, the CDC has to submit its report to the government within 21 days since the commencement of work.
