Kathmandu, Nepal, January 30, 2023: Film Development Board (FDB) Chairperson Bhuwan KC has reiterated his commitment to formulate a special low to control the piracy of the Nepali films.
Speaking at the closing ceremony of the two-day workshop organized by the Film Journalists' Association, Chairman KC, who is also the renowned actor of Nepal, said that the FDB has taken initiatives to make special laws related to cyber security and piracy.
As there are increasing complaints about the piracy of the film, it will be resolved through stern policy, KC said. However, he did not mention about the time to bring into implementation such a stern law.
Underlining the need of effective implementation of the existing law, he also urged the journalists participating in the workshop to encourage the activities of the board by making news and publishing them in the right way and also warning them if necessary.
