Kathmandu, Nepal, January 16, 2022: Newly appointed Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Chen Song paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal on Monday.


During the meeting held at the Prime Minister’s Office, Singhadarbar, the duo discussed on ranges of issues including about strengthening existing ties between the two neighboring countries. 

The duo also expressed their hope that the bilateral relations between the two countries would reach on new height during their tenure. 

Chinese Ambassador Song congratulated the Prime Minister on behalf of the Chinese President, the Vice President and the Premier for being appointed as the Prime Minister for third term. 

According to the Prime Minister's Secretariat, Chinese Ambassador Song also reiterated his commitment on behalf of the Chinese government that China would always be with Nepal on her path of stability, development and prosperity.

Responding to the Chinese Ambassador Song, Prime Minister Dahal also expressed his gratitude for the Chinese cooperation, friendship and fraternity. He also extended his best wishes for the success and progress of the President, vice president, Prime Minister and the people of China.
