Kathmandu, Nepal, November 24, 2019: Counter attacking to the political map unveiled by the Indi, Nepali civil society members have also unveiled a new political map of Nepal comprising Limpiadhura, Lipulekh and Kalapani of Kanchanpur district on Sunday.
As India had unveiled the a political map comprising Kalapani area of Kanchanpur district to its territory, the Civil society members of Nepal made public the political map of Nepal based on digital elevation model.
The political map of Nepal is unveiled with the aim to exert pressure on the government to issue a fresh political map placing these territories inside Nepali borders.
As the government has failed to take initiation in the diplomatic as well as political level against of the controvercial political map published by the India, the recent one political map revealed by the civil society members in Nepal is taken importantly in the diplomatic and political label.
