Kathmandu, Nepal, March 10, 2021: Nepal has recorded 104 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection from across the country in the past 24 hours on Wednesday. With the addition, coronavirus infection tally of the country has advanced to 274,973.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), of the newly infected cases, 46 are females while 58 are males.
Of the newly recorded infection cases from across the country, Kathmandu valley alone recorded 45 cases in the past 24 hours.
Likewise, 63 people, who were earlier infected with the virus, have been discharged after recovery in the past 24 hours. With the addition, total recovery tally of the country has advanced to 271,050.
There are currently 911 active cases across the country. Of them, only 55 individuals are staying in various quarantine facilities across Nepal.
No fatalities related to the coronavirus were recorded in the past 24 hours. The nationwide death-toll due to the infection of coronavirus has already reached to 3,012.
