Kathmandu, Nepal, November 30, 2020: Nepal’s coronavirus infection tally has reached to 233,452 after 1,474 new cases reported in the past 24 hours by Monday afternoon. Of the newly infected cases, 602 are females while 872 are males.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), of the newly infected cases, 809 cases surfaced in Kathmandu Valley alone. Of which 615 are from Kathmandu district, 125 from Lalitpur district and 69 from Bhaktapur district.

1,474 new cases were reported while conducting 9,911 PCR tests in different labs across the country in the last 24 hours. Till the date, a total of 1,737,747 PCR tests have been carried out in the country.

Likewise, 1,931 people, who were earlier infected with the virus, have been discharged after recovery in the past 24 hours.  With the addition, total recovery tally of the country has reached to 214,521.

Meanwhile, death toll due to the infection of coronavirus has reached to 1508 after 29 more fatalities related to the virus reported in the past 24 hours. 

There are currently 17,423 active cases in the country. Of them only 535 individuals are staying in various quarantine facilities across the country.
