Kathmandu, Nepal, October 4, 2020: Nepal’s coronavirus infection tally has reached to 238,861 after 1272 new cases recorded in the past 24 hours.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 1,575 people who were infected earlier with the virus, have been discharged after recovery in the past 24 hours.
With the addition, total recovery tally of the country has reached to 221,847.
Likewise, death toll due to the infection of coronavirus reached to 1,567 after 16 fatalities related to the virus recorded in the past 24 hours.
With the updates, there are currently 15,447 active cases in the country. Of them only 537 individuals are staying in various quarantine facilities across Nepal.
