Kathmandu, Nepal, March 1, 2021: Coronavirus infection tally of the country has advanced to 274,216 after 73 new cases recorded on Monday. Of the newly infected cases, 29 are females while 44 are males.
Likewise, 64 people, who were earlier infected with the virus, have been discharged after recovery in the past 24 hours. With the addition, total recovery tally of the country has advanced to 270,471.
Meanwhile, death toll due to the infection of coronavirus has advanced to 2,777 after three fatalities related to the virus reported in the past 24 hours.
There are currently 968 active cases of coronnavirus across the country. Of them, only 61 individuals are staying in various quarantine facilities.
According to the MoHP, 3,049 PCR tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. With the addition, total PCR tests conducted so far reached to 2,165,985 PCR.
