Kathmandu, Nepal July 9, 2021: Nepal recorded 1,479 more coronavirus infection cases in the past 24 hours on Friday. With the addition, nationwide infection tally has advanced to 652,859.

Meanwhile, 1362 people, who had infected with the virus, have been discharged after getting recovered in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide recovery tally of the country has advanced to 616,929.

Likewise, 20 more deaths have been reported in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide death tally related to the coronavirus infections advanced to 9,340.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) 11,313 total tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. Of the total tests, 6,657 were PCR tests while 4,656 were antigen tests.
 
There are currently 26,590 active cases of coronavirus infections across the country. Of them, only 305 individuals are staying in various quarantine facilities.
