Kathmandu, Nepal, Kuly 10, 2021: Nepal recorded 1,353 new coronavirus infection cases in the past 23 hours on Saturday. With the addition, coronavirus infection tally of the country has advanced to 654,212.
Meanwhile, 1,432 people, who had infected earlier with the virus, have been discharged after getting recovered in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide recovery tally has advanced to 618,361.
Likewise, 22 more deaths related to the coronavirus infections recorded in the past 23 hours. With the addition, nationwide death tally has advanced to 9,362.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, MoHP, altogether 10,417 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. Of the total tests, 6,530 were PCR tests while 3,887 were antigen tests, the MoHP has stated.
There are currently 26,489 active cases across the country. Of the total active cases, only 308 individuals are staying in institutional quarantine facilities set up by the government.
