Kathmandu, Nepal, October 18, 2021: Nepal records 523 new cases of coronavirus infections from across the country in the past 24 hours on Monday. With the addition, nationwide infection tally has advanced to 805560.
Meanwhile, 937 people, who had infected earlier with the virus, have been discharged after getting recovered in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide recovery tally has advanced to 782393.
Likewise, nine more deaths related to the coronavirus infections have been recorded from across the country in the past 24 hours on Monday. With the addition, nationwide death tally has advanced to 11293.
There are currently 11874 active cases of coronavirus infections across the country. Of them, only 229 infected persons have been staying in institutional quarantine facilities.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), a total of 9,697 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. Of the total tests, 7,654 were PCR tests while 2,043 were antigen tests. So far, a total of 4,328,478 PCR tests have been conducted from across the country.
