Kathmandu, Nepal, February 7, 2021: coronavirus infection tally of Nepal has advanced to 271,925 after 119 new cases reported in the past 24 hours.

Of the total newly infected cases, 36 are females while 83 are males.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), Kathmandu valley alone recorded 55 in the past 24 hours.

Likewise, 260 people, who were earlier infected with the virus, have been discharged after recovery in the past 24 hours.  

With the addition, total recovery tally of the country has advances to 268,072.

Meanwhile, death toll due to the infection of coronavirus advanced to 2,038 after three fatalities related to the virus recorded in the past 24 hours.
 
There are currently 1,815 active cases across the country. Of hem only 92 individuals are staying in various quarantine facilities across Nepal.
