Kathmandu, Nepal, September 05, 2020: Nepal’s coronavirus (COVID-19) infection tally reached to 45,277 after 1,041 new cases recorded in the past 24 hours.
Of the newly recorded new cases, 408 were from Kathmandu valley alone.
According to Jageshwar Gautam, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), of the 1,042 newly identified cases, 348 were females while were 692.
Similarly, 1,566 patients infected earlier with the virus have returned to their home after recovery in the past 24 hours.
With the new addition, 27,127 COVID-19 patients have recovered and returned home till the date on Saturday, Spokesperson Gautam said during the press briefing.
Likewise, death toll due to the infection of coronavirus reached to 280 after 9 death reported in the past 24 hours, Gautam said during the regular press briefing.
