Kathmandu, Nepal, January 29, 2020: Coronavirus (COVID-19) infection tally of the country has advanced to 270,745 after 157 new cases reported on Friday.
Of the total newly infected cases, 59 are females while 98 are males.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 82 new cases out of total newly infected cases have been surfaced in Kathmandu valley alone.
Likewise, 333 people, who were earlier infected with the virus, have been discharged after recovery.
With the addition, total recovery tally of the country has advanced to 270,745.
Meanwhile, death toll due to the infection of coronavirus has advanced to 2,025 after five more fatalities related to the virus reported in the past 24 hours.
There are currently 3,022 active cases across the country. Of them, only 111 individuals have been staying in various quarantine facilities across Nepal.
