Kathmandu, Nepal, August 16, 2022: CPN (Maoist Center) and the newly formed Nepal Socialist Party (NSP) have been jointly registered at the Election Commission (EC) for the elections for the House of Representatives and provincial assemblies scheduled for upcoming November 20 on Tuesday.
Earlier, both the parties had agreed to contest the elections under the same symbol used earlier by the Maoist Center. A meeting held between CPN Maoist Center chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and NSP Chairman Dr. Baburam Bhattrai decided to contest the elections under the same symbol of the Maoist Center.
