Kathmandu, Nepal, October 23, 2020: Co-chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal led faction of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has on Wednesday submitted a letter to the Election Commission of Nepal claiming authenticity of the party.
The Dahal led faction has claimed the authenticity of the party just a day after another Co-chair KP Oli led faction submitted a similar letter claiming the authenticity of the party.
In the letter sent to the election commission, the Dahal led faction has stated that KP Sharma Oli was removed from the post of party co-chair and senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal was elected as a new co-chair alongside Dahal.
With the clam, the Dahal led faction has also attached the decision taken by the Party’s Central Committee meeting held yesterday.
