Kavre, Nepal, May 16, 2020: A woman, who was suspected to have been infected by coronavirus (COVID-19), has died while undergoing treatment at Dhulikhel hospital, Kavrepalanchowk Saturday.
Though the exact reason behind the death is yet to be confirmed, health workers involved in the treatment have also suspected that the reason behind her death would have coronavirus as she had suffered with the similar symptoms.
It is said that her throat swab reports is still waited as her swab has been sent to the National Public Health Laboratory, Teku for COVID-19 testing through the PCR method.
The decease has been identified as 29-year-old woman, who was hailing from Bahrabise of Sindhupalchowk. She was admitted to Dhulikhel hospital on Thursday after she complained of breathing difficulties.
She was admitted to the hospital just few days after she got discharged from Teaching hospital in Kathmandu. She had given birth to a child 10 days ago.
