Nepalgunj, Nepal, June 1, 2020: The death toll of Banke road accident has climbed to 12 after an injured passenger breathed his last while receiving treatment at Nepalgunj based Bheri Hospital on Monday morning.
In the accident occurred at Sunday midnight, eleven people had died on the spot including the driver of the ill-fated minibus with registration number Na 5 Chha 5995.
The fatal accident had occurred after the ill-fated minibus collided with a parked truck with registration number Ba 4 Kha 9064 at Thuriya of Rapti Sonari Rural Municipality-2 of the district.
The migrant workers, who had returned from India, had reserved the ill-fated minibus to go to their home district, Salyan.
It is said that among the 21 injured passengers, four persons are reported as critical in condition.
