Birgunj, Nepal, April 01, 2019: The death toll from the devastating storm in Bara and Parsa district has risen to 31 till Monday morning. It is likely that death toll would escalate further as many people have been receiving treatment with serious condition of health.
As the devastated storm begun to come from 6:00 pm on Sunday affected several villages of the Teria districts, particularly the two, it is likely that the death toll would increase.
It is reported that more than 700 people have injured from the storm. Hundreds of thousand people have been affected from the storm.
An emergency meeting of the Provincial Government 2 has decided to intensify rescue operation.
Likewise, the provincial government has also decided to provide relief package to the victims’ family.
