Kathmandu, Nepal, December 19, 2022: A reality show of folk song 'Dohori Idol' is going to be organized in Nepal from mid January, 2023. The DAR Movies is going to organize the program for the first time in Nepal.
Amrit Khati, the coordinator of the program, has said that the winner of the idol will win cash of 1.5 million and a car as prize.
Similarly, the second runner-up will receive 7 million in cash and the third runner-up will receive 5 million in cash as prize.
The Idol, which is being broadcasted from Nepal Network Television, will run for a month period.
It is said that the competition will be held between 42 famous folk song singers of Nepal. Purushottam Neupane, Raju Periyar, Ghamesh Dulal and Rita Thapa are fixed as the judges of the idol.
