Kathmandu, Nepal, March 2, 2021: Former Prime Minister and Chairman of the Federal Council of Janata Samajwadi Party Dr. Babu Ram Bhattarai is not suffering from neuro-endocrine cancer as feared earlier. Following the observation, the doctors, however, have suggested him to undergo surgery immediately to remove the tumor.
Doctors involved in the treatment have concluded that there is no cancer in the neuro-endocrine tumor, Bhattarai’s press advisor Biswadeep Pandey said. According to him, doctors have suggested him to remove the tumor within two to three months.
Bhattarai, who had flown to India for medical treatment on February 21 and was admitted to the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences in Delhi on February 23, is scheduled to return Kathmandu on Tuesday.
