Kathmandu, Nepal, May 19, 2020: Annual policies and programs unveiled by the incumbent government recently have been endorsed by the federal parliament- House of Representatives (HoR) and National Assembly (NA) on Tuesday.
The policy and program were endorsed on the basis of the majority votes. Different five amendment proposals registered by the lawmakers demanding amendments were also rejected from the majority votes.
HoR Speaker Agni Prasad Sapkota announced that the policies and programs presented by the government were endorsed by the federal parliament with majority votes.
As per the constitutional provision, President Bidya Devi Bhandari had presented the government's policies and programs during the joint session of the federal parliament on May 15.
