Kathmandu, Nepal, October 27, 2020: Operation of flights at the Everest region has been allowed again.  Earlier, flights at the Everest region were suspended owing the spread of global pandemic-coronavirus (COVID-19).

As a Covid-19 positive case had been detected for the first time in Namche Bazar, flights at the Everest region were halted on October 22 until further notice.

The Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Municipality has decided to resume flights and decided to welcome domestic and foreign tourists in the region from Monday.

However, the municipality has set a condition that the travel-enthusiasts must provide a PCR test report conducted not more than 72 hours ago to prove that they have not infected with the virus.
