Kathmandu, Nepal, November 22, 2019: Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ), the umbrella organization of Nepalese journalists, is going to organize a nationwide demonstration on Sunday demanding assurance of press freedom and protection of journalists.
The FNJ has scheduled the demonstration coinciding with the International Day against Impunity. It is said that the demonstration will be organized an all seven provinces including in Kathmandu.
Every successive government failed to arrest those involved in the extrajudicial killings of journalists over the years, states the press release issued by the FNJ.
