Kathmandu, Nepal, July 10, 2022: The Foreign Department Chief of the Communist Party of China (CPC), Liu Jianchao, arrived in Kathmandu on Sunday.

The eight-member delegation led by Jianchao has arrived in Kathmandu for four day official visit to Nepal. 

The officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs welcomed Jianchao at the Tribhuvan International Airport. 

This is Jianchao’s first visit to Nepal after he assumed the post as the Foreign Department Chief of the CPC. 

During his stay in Kathmandu, Jianchao is scheduled to meet President Bidya Devi Bhandari, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Narayan Khadka, CPN (UML) Chair KP Sharma Oli, CPN (Maoist Center) Chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal and among other leaders.
