Kathmandu, Nepal, January 3, 2021: Political development emerged in Nepal after the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR) has widely dragged the concerns of the international communities, particularly the neighboring China and India.

Responding to the current fragile political situation of Nepal, international communities, particularly the neighboring China and India have intensified their activism with the motive to influence the Nepalese leaders to fulfill their own interests.

Reliable source claims that southern neighbor China is preparing to send another three-member team to Nepal to hold political dialogue with Nepalese political leaders. However, exact motive of the visit and persons to be sent by China are yet to be revealed officially.

The Chinese team is arriving in Nepal just after a four-member team led by Guo Yezhou, vice-minister of the International Department of the Communist Party of China, returned to China after holding meeting with Nepalese leaders.

It is said that the Guo led team had attempted most to reunite the ruling Nepal Communist Party ((NCP) even though it has split after government dissolved the House of Representatives. During the stay in Nepal, the Chinese team had met several leaders including the Prime Minister KP Oli, President Bidya Devi Bhandari, senior leaders of the rival factions of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) and the main opposition party Nepali Congress (NC)’s president Sher Bahadur Deuba.

These is also a speculation that another three-member team led by Zekun Lai, which is believed to have quietly travelled by road from China to Nepal, have been holding dialogue with the Nepalese leaders. However, neither the government of Nepal nor the China has revealed about the visit of the recent Chinese team.

Not only the northern neighbor China but also the southern neighbor India has also been intensifying its activities in Nepal. India has already invited Foreign Minister Pradeep Kumar Gyawali to Delhi. However, the invitation of Gyawali is also yet to be confirmed officially.

It is said that Foreign Minister Gyawali is invited to pave the way to visit the Prime Minister KP Oli’s visit to India. Earlier, India had sent three separate teams to hold dialogue with the Nepalese leaders.

Pushpa Kamal Dahal, a chairman of the splinter faction of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) has on Monday reached at Mumbai for the treatment of his spouse, Sita Dahal.

Though Dahal’s recent India visit is termed as medical trip, it is widely believed that he would meet some Indian leaders to discuss over the recent political development of the country.

As it was widely reported that Dahal had sought India’s help over the recent political development, his visit to India is taken meaningfully from different sectors.
