Kathmandu, Nepal, September 13, 2022: The Province Sports Council of the Gandaki Province has decided to take part in all 26 sports events of the 9th National Games. With the decision all the players would be kept in closed-door training sessions from September 17.
Tej Bahadur Gurung, Member Secretary of the Province Sports Council, as many as 716 players would participate in all sports of the national games from the Gandaki province.
According to him, elected players will be provided after the end of the special training for 15 days and closed-door training for next 15 days. It is said that the closed-door session is going to be organized in all the concerned districts.
For the purpose, the Province Sports Council has demanded with the province government of Gndaki Province to arrange a budget for a closed-door session.
The 9th National Games are scheduled to take place in Gandaki Province Headquarter in Pokhara from October 14 to 20.
