Kathmandu, Nepal: The supposed plan of the cabinet meeting to recommend names for nomination to the National Assembly (NA) has been postponed on Friday. 

It was supposed that the names to be recommended for nomination to NA would be tabled at the Cabinet meeting held on Friday.

According to a reliable source close to the Nepali Congress, Gopal Basnet, Krishna Paudel and Chandani Joshi would likely be recommended as the NA members from the government. 

The Nepali Congress had authorized Prime Minister and party president Sher Bahadur Deuba to choose the names to recommend as the NA members.
   
As Article 86, 2 (B) of the constitution of Nepal has provisioned that the government can nominate three members to the Upper House, incumbent government is preparing to recommend names.  

As per the constitutional provision, President has to nominate three NA members in the recommendation of the Nepal government.
