Kathmandu, Nepal, October 28, 2021: The government has recommended the names as ambassadors to India, USA and UK on Thursday.
The government has recommended Dr Shanker Sharma as Nepal’s ambassador to India, Dr Sridhar Khatri as Nepal’s ambassador USA and Gyan Chandra Acharya as Nepal's ambassador to UK.
The newly appointed ambassadors are considered as expert in the concerned field. Sharma had previously served as Nepal's ambassador to the USA and the vice president of the National Planning commission.
Similarly, Acharya had served as Under Secretary General of the United Nations while Khatri is known as an expert of international relations.
