Kathmandu, Nepal: The government has on Friday scrapped the nomination of 14 ambassadors recommended by the erstwhile CPN UML chairman KP Sharma Oli-led government.
A Cabinet meeting held in Singha Durbar made the decision to cancel the recommendation of 14 ambassadors made by the previous government from the political background.
The Oli government had recommended 14 ambassadors eight from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and 14 from the political background. However, eight persons recommended Ministry of Foreign Affairs have been continued.
